My dog sheba passed away on May 19th. It was pretty devastating so I wanted to do a little project as a memorial to her. I decided I wanted to do a mural on the back wall in the garden were she was buried and a canvas to hang up inside in the kitchen.  Below is the original drawing touched up that I wanted to work from. I ended up slimming her neck a bit

 Sadly, the mural didn't go too well. The paint on the wall was very poor and crumbled. So I need to repaint that wall before applying the second draft.

  I did however like the canvas version. It came out much better. I'm afraid the photo doesn't do it too much justice but in person. its the tribute I really wanted and needed.

So much of Sheba was home to me and I really, really miss her. Rest in peace, puppy pal.

Some gesture drawing

I'm trying to get into blogging drawings and animation snippets. Hopefully I'll start routinely updating and this might become a thing. So what better way to start than some gesture drawing that's already been scanned in a few months ago.
